Maria Vomvolakis M.D.

A trusted physician for over 16 years, Dr. Vomvolakis understands the importance of staying abreast of current medical practices, but also appreciates that an integral part of care is intangible- listening closely to her patients and their families, and developing long-term relationships with them.  As mother to two daughters, Dr. Vomvolakis can relate to the concerns and needs of parents and strives to provide the highest quality care for all children.

Dr. Vomvolakis prides herself on being thorough, kind and kids like her because she acts like a kid herself!   Her upbeat personality and personable style of practice make appointments informative, comfortable and fun.  As the mother of an ex 26-week preemie, she has a great deal of experience with premature babies and the obstacles that their families face.  A Certified Lactation Consultant, she assists new Moms with their breastfeeding goals and challenges.  Dr. Vomvolakis is fluent in Greek and proficient in Spanish, which allows her to provide more individualized care to non-English speakers.

In her spare time Dr. Vomvolakis enjoys spending time with her two daughters and loves to dance.  She also enjoys drawing and art.   She loves basketball and coaches her daughters church basketball teams.
