Our American Heart Association Friends and Family CPR non-certification course will teach the basic CPR skills for infant/child and adult. You will also learn how to handle choking emergencies. If you’re a parent, grandparent, or caregiver/nanny, baby proofing tips are essential. We always teach how to properly call the 911 system and we will advise you of what phone numbers to have in emergencies as well as what to have in your first aid kit. You will also learn prevention and treatment of common first aid emergencies.
Changes due to COVID – You will receive hands on practice on our infant/child mannequins; however, we are no longer doing rescue breathing on the mannequins. All of our instructors are vaccinated.
